GET INVOLVED
Our success depends entirely on the successful engagement of the Cree people of Eeyou Istchee. Please let us know if you would like to be involved in efforts to support the Cree language, or if you would like more information about what is planned for your community. We would certainly appreciate knowing whether you have:
- Ideas for Cree language activities or events in your community
- An interest in working on behalf of the Cree language
- A desire to improve your own knowledge of the Cree language
Please note we are still early in our work, so we are not yet at a point where we can support activities or events financially. That said, we may still be able to help
- identify potential sources of funding that you or your community could apply for to support your ideas or work
- we may also be able to put you in touch with others who are involved in similar work or who could help you to develop your ideas
Finally, we would be happy to hear from you as we will be working over coming years to build a network of people who want to work together to support the language. By getting in touch we will ensure that we keep you informed as we move forward.
